DeGrand & Wolfe, P.C., is a Chicago, Illinois law firm providing representation to clients in a variety of litigation settings, with primary emphasis on commercial, business and employment-related litigation. We represent both corporate and individual clients in matters ranging from complex business disputes to a variety of employment-related cases, including contract, discrimination and sexual harassment claims. We have also represented, and continue to represent, finance and mortgage companies in a variety of litigation contexts.
Our attorneys represent clients in all stages of the litigation process, including trial and appellate proceedings. We have successfully tried cases (before both jury and bench) in state and federal courts in Chicago and throughout the country. We have handled proceedings before private alternative dispute resolution forums (such as arbitration and mediation), and in connection with administrative and regulatory proceedings. We have also argued appeals before the Appellate Courts of Illinois, the Illinois Supreme Court, and various United States Courts of Appeal.
DeGrand & Wolfe, P.C., was formed in 2006 by Luke DeGrand and Tracey Wolfe following an association that spanned more than eight years. Mr. DeGrand, who has been practicing law since 1985, has been awarded Martindale-Hubbell’s highest (AV) rating, and is included among that organization’s Bar Registry of Preeminent Lawyers. He is also recognized as one of the top Illinois attorneys by Super Lawyers®. Teresa Frisbie, who joined the Firm as counsel in 2006, is also AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized by her peers as one of Illinois’ Leading Lawyers in the area of Alternative Dispute Resolution: Commercial Litigation, Employment, International.
